Students participate in Youth Art Exhibition

Each spring, the Longwood Center for the Visual Arts sponsors the annual Area Youth Art Exhibition. The exhibition features work from numerous students from surrounding counties, including public, private and home schools.
Counties involved included Amelia, Buckingham, Charlotte, Cumberland, Lunenburg, Nottoway and Prince Edward. Community members are invited to celebrate the creativity of the young artists by attending the opening reception from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., June 7.
The Cumberland students participating in the art exhibition were recognized at the April 9 meeting of the school board.

Pre-K3: June Stevens, Bear Hug: A Woodland Collage
