Norval Foundation has curated an intimate after-hours Wine & Art experience in collaboration with Beau Constantia. Set against the evocative backdrop of Tanda rima by Portia Zvavahera, this curated evening invites guests to explore art through a sensory journey of fine wine, flavour, and storytelling.
Taking place in Gallery 1, the event begins at 7 PM and offers a rare opportunity to experience the museum after dark. Guests will be guided on a private tour of Tanda rima, Zvavahera’s deeply personal and spiritually resonant exhibition, known for its layered symbolism, dreamlike imagery, and exploration of memory, faith, and the subconscious.
The evening continues with a bespoke wine tasting by Beau Constantia’s winemaker, Megan van der Merwe, thoughtfully paired with a selection of artisanal canapés. Each pairing has been designed to complement the themes and emotional textures of the exhibition, creating a dialogue between visual art and culinary craftsmanship.
This exclusive event promises an atmosphere of quiet reflection and indulgence – where art, wine, and conversation intersect in an unforgettable setting.
