White Rock Artists’ Studio tour returns this weekend


The White Rock Artists’ Studio Tour returns for its 31st year this weekend, bringing together the community and local artists in home studios.

Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m, neighbors can visit the home studies of local artists free-of-charge. Four art centers, The Heavy Institute, Bath House Cultural Center, Creative Arts Center of Dallas and Iron Frog Press are also participating in the event. 

Aside from art centers, 31 home studios will open to the public this weekend. Visitors will be given the opportunity to dialogue with artists at different stages of production. White Rock Valley neighbor and artist Lynn Eskridge’s home will be the only tour stop north of Northwest Highway.There will be an artists’ reception for the Bath House Cultural Center’s Dia de Muertos exhibition starting at 5 p.m. Sunday, coinciding with the end of the tour.

Visitor policies will vary by studio.
