The UK’s Featured Artists Coalition has signed up 20 new ‘artist ambassadors’ taking its total to more than 140. These are musicians who support the organisation’s campaigns and get involved in its work.
The new additions include Duran Duran, Nia Archives, Becky Hill and Murray Matravers (formerly of Easy Life). They are joined by Baby Queen, Girli, Cherise, Elkka, Friedberg, Joel Culpepper, Sam Duckworth (of Get Cape, Wear Cape, Fly), English Teacher, Richard Hughes (of Keane), Eckoes, Guvna B, OneDa, CJ Pandit, SOAK, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs and Gus Unger-Hamilton (of Alt-J).
“FAC Ambassadors play a vitally important role in reminding the wider world that artists are at the absolute epicentre of what should be a creative-led industry,” said CEO David Martin.
