Artists and visitors filled the Art Concepts store as creators met one another and shared their work.
“The artists got to know one another. It was so busy and everyone is connecting,” said owner and artist Theresa Fuhr.
Fuhr said welcoming new artists continues to be a highlight.
“It’s always kind of exhilarating the thrill of new artists getting exposure, I think that it’s so rewarding.”
Plans are already being considered for future events downtown. “Next year we would like to move forward with more artists on the street, and it will be weather dependent, but that would be our ultimate goal annually. Start the use of the new sidewalk and utilize downtown.”
