Pokesdown Gallery, located on Christchurch Road in Pokesdown, is opening its doors in tandem with the yearly Dorset Art Weeks event, which will begin on May 23.
Pokesdown Gallery adds to a growing collection of arts venues and spaces in Boscombe, including BEAF, AUGER, Rhythm Store, TOSH, and the Factory Studios.
The gallery launches with displays from two local artists.
Sarah Humby, known for her printmaking skills, frequently engages with the community by sketching and teaching around Hengistbury Head.
Fabian Rose, an artist skilled in glass sculpture, uses lost wax methods to create his pieces from his Southbourne-based workshop.
Situated at 841 Christchurch Road, Pokesdown, BH7 6AR, the gallery will be open weekends during exhibitions.
