Crawford Art Gallery announces closure for major redevelopment

Cork’s Crawford Art Gallery will close on Sunday, September 22, for a two-year, multi-million euro redevelopment.

The project, “Transforming Crawford Art Gallery,” will add 50% more space, restore the historic Customs House entrance, and create a new top-floor gallery with city views.

The Obelisk of Bronze sculpture by Michael Warren was removed from the garden today as part of the renovation preparations.
