An artist’s impression has been released showing what the planned revamp of a city’s museum could look like.
Plans to refurbish the Potteries Museum and Art Gallery in Stoke-on-Trent are being drawn up after the city council was awarded £5m from the Department of Culture, Media and Sport and Arts Council England.
They include a new entrance, an artist-in-residence room, increased storage capacity, a new location for the cafe and a terraced area.
Stoke-on-Trent City Council said the revamp would ensure the museum is “modernised and enhanced for people to enjoy for many years to come”.
