From 25 October 2024 to 23 March 2025, National Gallery Singapore presents its first solo exhibition on Singapore’s oldest living and active artist, Lim Tze Peng, featuring over 50 artworks curated from Singapore’s public art collections, the artist’s personal art collection and rare archival materials. Visitors can look forward to tracing the artistic evolution of the 103 year-old artist, with artworks dating back to 1946 and as recent as 2023, including his distinct style of calligraphy, ‘hu tu zi’ or ‘muddled calligraphy’.
This marks the fourth installment of the 2024 Gallery’s SG Artist series, which spotlights visionary Singaporean artists who reflect Singapore’s post-independence spirit and innovation.
General admission costs apply; free for Singaporeans and Permanent Residents.
