Within this futuristic glass behemoth you will find a constantly evolving menu of visual delights. This is because it holds no permanent collection so there’s always space for something new. Right now, we are loving the retrospective of Keiichi Tanaami who started his career as the first art director of Playboy magazine Japan in 1975 and has since gone on to produce paintings, collages, sculptures, animations, experimental video pieces, and installations.
Honourable mention: The Otsuka Museum of Art – this enormous gallery is famed for its life-sized painstakingly reproduced works by the likes of Michelangelo, El Greco, Monet and Picasso.
