Exhibition: Plastic Undone: Jewelry Art by Carole Shelton | St. Pete ArtWorks | Visual Art

Carole Shelton’s exhibition of necklaces and brooches made of plastic calls attention to the damage plastic is doing to the earth. She hopes that plastic will become so rare that she will run out of material for her projects. The show is scheduled for the month of April. “Birds for Peace”, a presentation of birds made from plastic bottles, will be part of the exhibit. The reception is held during St. Pete’s Second Saturday Art Walk featuring modern folk music by Kathy Bellavia and the art of more than 30 additional artists.
