Which artists have collaborated with Taylor Swift on ‘The Tortured Poets Department’?

The big day has arrived. After announcing her eleventh studio album during her acceptance speech at the 66th GRAMMY Awards, Taylor Swift’s ‘The Tortured Poets Department’ is set to hit shelves and digital platforms on Friday 19 April 2024.

According to various theories circulating on social media, as well as promotional material for the album, this new production will delve into Taylor Swift’s six-year relationship with English actor Joe Alwyn, as well as the marriage proposal that never materialised. And before you ask, people close to new beau Travis Kelce have been reported as saying he’s not bothered in the slightest.

Prior to the album release, Taylor curated five playlists, grouping her entire discography into the five stages of grief: denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and acceptance. This suggests that the project will be a thoroughly nostalgic endeavor. Additionally, the album’s title is said to be inspired by a former WhatsApp group of her ex-partner with Andrew Scott and Paul Mescal: ‘Tortured Man Club’.
