Coburn Art Gallery to host exhibition of Artists of Group 10


ASHLAND — The Coburn Art Gallery at Ashland University will host a 10-week exhibition of professional artists from the Artists of Group 10 cooperative group.

A reception will be held on May 17 at 6 p.m. to kick off the exhibition. The group was formed in 2012 in Kent, Ohio, and consists of 18 professional artists.

The exhibition will include a variety of media, and will be free and open to the public from May 17 through July 26.

The gallery is open Tuesday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Artists of Group 10 was founded by C. Arthur Croyle, Jeff Fauser, Judy Gaiser, Tina Grondin, Marianne Hite, Carol Klingel, Carolyn Lewis, Dan Lindner, Mo Mosvajalowski, Bill Peck, Katina Pastis-Radwanski, John Smolko, Frank Susi, Carol Tomasik, Jana Volkmer, Gwen Waight, and Helen Wilson.

Many of the artists have taught at colleges and high schools, and some have authored books and done workshops and demonstrations.

The group has exhibited in regional venues dozens of times, and has participated in juried, state, regional, national, and international exhibitions. For more information on the exhibition, visit the Coburn Gallery website.
