Art exhibition ‘Fusion 24’ inaugurated

JAMMU, July 7: ‘Fusion 24’, an art exhibition of paintings, collages, sketches and prints by budding artists of Jammu organized by JAKFAS at Art Gallery-cum-Studio of JAKFAS, Muthi was inaugurated here today by Dy.SP Naresh Sharma who was chief guest on the occasion.
Senior artist, writer and columnist, Jang S. Verman and senior artist, Mohd. Akram Khan were special guests while the renowned sculptor Jasleen Singh, Rajesh Sharma, Jagdish Raj and Vandana Dutta, educationist were also present on this occasion.
Art works of budding artists including Shruti Sharma, Tejas Dutta, Prathamansh Sharma, Ramit Sharma and Jia Langer were displayed in the exhibition curated by JAKFAS artist, Suresh Sharma.
The dignitaries had a round of the exhibition and interacted with the budding artists.
Speaking on this occasion, Dy.SP Naresh Sharma said that creative activities will bring a positive change in young minds and makes the youth better citizens of the future.
The participants were felicitated with mementoes by the guests.
Earlier Suresh Sharma, general secretary, JAKFAS welcomed the guests and gave a brief note on the activities of JAKFAS as well the exhibition and participating artists.
