Haddington-based artist Kate Henderson is offering the three day intensive course from August 5 to 7.
Just six participants will take part in the course organised by the award-winning artist.
She told the Courier how it was important that people took up the skill after it was classified as a critically endangered craft in the UK by Heritage Crafts in May 2023.
She said: “The decline is driven by an aging workforce, a lack of apprenticeships, and reduced, specialised education, putting the skills needed for designing and creating large-scale, hand-painted leaded windows at risk.
“I am offering this opportunity to learn more about this craft and create something beautiful for your home.
“I have over 30 years’ experience as a stained glass artist and I’m sad to see the decline of this fascinating craft, as there are now no further and higher education courses available to study stained glass in Scotland.”
