9 Asian artists playing at Glastonbury Festival 2024

This year’s Glastonbury Festival brings together an eclectic mix of Asian acts, such as Balming Tiger from South Korea and Otoboke Beaver from Japan

The Glastonbury Festival, best known simply as Glastonbury, is one of the world’s most iconic music festivals. Taking place in the town of Pilton in Somerset in the UK, the festival has a rich history that dates back to the 1970s, initially drawing a crowd of 1,500 people and growing to over 200,000 attendees today.

With multiple stages, the festival has hosted a global line-up of musicians—from those at the top of their game to indie artists—playing a myriad of genres including rock, pop, rap, reggae, folk and more.

Although no Asian artist has headlined the festival so far, many have played sets in previous years. So in anticipation of this year’s event, which takes place from June 26 to 30, Tatler highlights nine Asian acts who will play at the Glastonbury Festival.
