Wearable Stories | Wearable Art Festival

Everyone has a story. How does that translate into something wearable?

Wearable Stories explores how to translate your story and experiences into something that could walk the runway. Facilitated by Nate Gardiner, this workshop will be split into two parts; the first hour spent exploring ideas and designing, followed by two hours of hands-on practical creative time.

The workshop is free and open to all school-aged children.

About Wearable Art Festival (WAF)
Developed in 2023 by Bunbury Public Library, WAF looks to expand each year to create community awareness of the important role we all play in reducing landfill waste. WAF inspires individuals, schools, community groups, aspiring artists, and businesses to reuse, repurpose and recycle everyday materials. These materials, commonly put into landfills significantly impact our environment. WAF inspires creativity within the community in repurposing everyday waste materials into art or fashion in a way that is fun and accessible for all.
