School of Visual Arts presents “Building Character,” an exhibition of character design by 11 BFA 3D Animation and Visual Effects students, curated by faculty member Rinn Wight. The exhibition will be on view from Wednesday, April 17, through Thursday, May 2, 2024, at the SVA Flatiron Gallery, 141 W 21st Street, New York, NY 10011.
“Building Character” is an exploration of the diverse and dynamic realm of character design as an art form. Characters are the heart and soul of storytelling, serving as the bridge between creators and audiences. Through this exhibition, we are highlighting the diverse, imaginative and inspiring characters that SVA students have developed. All characters take on various forms, each with a story to tell.
