A visual arts lecturer that teaches at Sint Lucas Art Collage in Antwerp and the RITCS school of arts in Brussels is among those detained by the Israeli Army aboard a ship that was part of the Global Sumud Flotilla. The flotilla that was carrying humanitarian aid for the people of Gaza was intercepted in international waters by the Israeli military on Wednesday. Those aboard the vessels taking part in the flotilla were detained by Israeli forces and taken to Israel.
