Wendy Tate’s exhibition as part of Scarborough’s Art Festival closes on Sunday, she says it’s been a great opportunity for her.
She’s one of many local artists being given a place & platform to show off her work.
The exhibition comprises paintings, video and prints.
It begins with the death of Wendy’s mother and examines the way grief brings on a feeling of departing an old place.
The exhibition is at a former newsagents’, on St Helen’s Square, in Scarborough.
Wendy describes the scene:
Scarborough Art Festival has been running throughout June and July, ending next weekend.
Wendy says the festival has been a success and loves what the town has to offer artistically:
The exhibition runs until 4pm on Sunday.
