A new art exhibit at the New Museum Los Gatos will feature the work of 74 local artists from July 19 to Oct. 6.

NUMU’s fourth annual experimental exhibit, called “Boundaries,” is a partnership with genARTS Silicon Valley and features works in mediums from photography to fiber. Artists were asked to submit pieces that examine the boundaries that exist in their world.

“Artwork may explore physical borders, emotional boundaries, societal divisions and beyond and may navigate the theme through the lens of setting boundaries, breaking barriers or redefining limits,” the museum’s website states. “This exhibition aims to foster a dialogue on the multifaceted nature of boundaries.”

Each of the 74 artists lives in or is based in Santa Clara County, according to a release. To see a full list of the artists, visit numulosgatos.org. NUMU hours are Thursday-Sunday, 10 a.m.-4 p.m.. The museum is also hosting an opening reception for the exhibit on Saturday, July 10, 5-8 p.m. Admission is free with registration.
