On this week’s chart update, several Filipino artists continue to reign supreme on the Billboard Philippines’ Hot 100.
Maki still dominates the chart with his beloved viral hit, “Dilaw“, which has spent three weeks at the prestigious No. 1 spot on both the Hot 100 and Top Philippine Songs charts.
Though BINI has taken a step down from their No. 2 position of “Salamin, Salamin” over the past two weeks, they still maintain a stronghold on No. 3 with the track, alongside other spots within the Top 10 at No. 5 for “Pantropiko“, No. 7 for “Karera“, and No. 9 for “Lagi.”
TJ Monterde soars up to the No. 8 position once more with “Palagi” –– marking a welcome return to form for the singer-songwriter’s heartfelt ballad. The track dropped down two spots to the No. 10 position on last week’s rankings but is one of only a few tracks that jumped higher this week.
Speaking of tracks that rose higher, Billie Eilish has reached a new peak position on the Hot 100, claiming the No. 2 position with “Birds Of A Feather”. Compared to its entry at No. 5 in the debut iteration of the Billboard Philippines charts, the track has ascended from No. 4 last week to No. 2 this week –– marking its peak position on the Hot 100 so far.
Other international acts such as Sabrina Carpenter are still present within the Top 10, with the pop princess holding the line on both the No. 4 and No. 6 spots for “Please, Please, Please” and “Espresso” respectively. Though the former stayed at a peak position of No. 3 for the past two weeks, it finally bows down to both BINI and Billie Eilish. Tommy Richman also enters the Top 10 again at the final spot with “Million Dollar Baby”, which went down a step on last week’s rankings.
Beyond the Top 10, Hev Abi, Dionela, Jay R, Realest Cram, gins&melodies, Cup Of Joe, Janine Tenoso, Ryannah J, Nateman, and Flow G continue to dominate significant positions on the Hot 100 charts. Other independent artists like Over October and Eliza Maturan also attained breakthrough entries on the Hot 100 –– – solidifying the reign of Filipino artists on the chart.
Billboard Philippines Hot 100 ranks the biggest songs in the country, based on streaming data (both audio and video) collected by data provider Luminate. The chart encompasses tracks by both Filipino and international acts. The Hot 100 is one of Billboard Philippines‘ official music charts, alongside the Top Philippine Songs chart. Both charts will be updated weekly every Wednesday.
