Dundalk’s Creative Spark welcomes fourth Artist in Residence for 2024

Eabha Cleary, a visual artist from Bray, Co. Wicklow, graduated from Printmaking and Contemporary Practice at the Limerick School of Art and Design in 2023.

Currently practicing between Berlin and Ireland. As well as printmaking, Eabha also works with photography and moving image.

She explores themes of class, the effects of post-capitalism, and globalist commodification, considering their environmental, cultural, political, and personal impacts.

Drawing inspiration from anarchist philosophies and ancient Irish folklore, she embraces uncertainty, empathy, and the ‘otherworld’, aiming to challenge and offer fresh perspectives on the world we inhabit.
