A bizarre new AI trend is taking over the internet, allowing Spotify users to immortalise their top four artists on a personalised, and often hilarious, Mount Rushmore monument. Here’s how to do it
Another AI trend has come out once again dominating the internet, and this time it is a new trend with Spotify. Creating your very own Mount Rushmore of your top four Spotify artists.
This time of the year, everyone looks forward to seeing their Spotify wrapped playlist and what songs have kept you in your feels throughout the year, or what has got you locking in at the gym. The playlist also shows, what artists have remained your go to, or what new artists have crept up the rankings.
However, if you want to see who are your top artists on Mount Rushmore, you can do so using AI.

For those who are unaware, Mount Rushmore is a giant monument that has huge stone heads of the four presidents of the United States in South Dakota: Abraham Lincoln, Thomas Jefferson, George Washington and Theodore Roosevelt.
In modern day terms, people posing the question of whose on their Mount Rushmore, might refer to anything – athletes, artists, actors, or influential people. Now with this latest trend it is about which artists kept you hooked on Spotify.

How to create your own AI Mount Rushmore
- Using fanalytics.fm, you can link your Spotify via the website or their app.
- You then give permission to let them access your Spotify – which can be revoked later if you’d like to.
- On the app, they will create your Mount Rushmore Spotify artists with AI.
PopCrave have got fans obsessing over it. Although not everybody is a fan.
One fan said, “Love this!!” Others have shared their Mount Rushmore but are very confused. One user said: “Why did they only let Sabrina look like…herself…Taylor, Miley, Beyoncé I’m so sorry.” Another couldn’t decipher a likeness between the AI image and any of their favourite artists. They simply said: “I have no idea who mine are??”
However, many are disappointed, sharing their thoughts on the use of AI as a whole. One said: “The amount of water this is going to waste…” Another said, “We really don’t need this AI slop it is pointless.”
AI trends are almost everywhere, and this is not the only one for Spotify. Back in 2024 they shared how users can create an AI Playlist. All users have to do is type in a prompt into the chat, and allow AI to make a selection of songs tailored to the users choice.
They recommend using “prompts that reference places, animals, activities, movie characters, colours, even emojis.” They share how to do this on their website.
Some people are loving this new trend, and can’t wait to envision their top Spotify artists as set in virtual stone. However, there are many others who don’t see the point of it and are growing more concerned with how AI is becoming so prevalent in our everyday lives.
