It is essential to cultivate a steady pipeline of artists and practitioners to contribute to the vibrancy and growth of the arts sector, said MP Mohd Fahmi Aliman. He suggested creating affordable spaces for artists to showcase their talent and artworks and expanding audience engagement and participation through more free or low-cost performances. Speaking in parliament on Monday (Mar 10), he asked the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth to share its plans to strengthen support for artists.
