Bucks Art Weeks: Artists to display works at Bledlow Ridge

12 skilled craftspeople known as the Reflex Arts Collective have pooled their resources to put on the exhibition, which runs each weekend from Saturday, June 8 until June 23 at Bledlow Ridge Village Hall.

The art on show – which is available to buy – spans many styles and media, from captivating abstract and traditional paintings rendered in watercolour, oil, pastel, acrylic and mixed media, to intricate fused glass art, leaded lights, ceramic pots, and sculptures.

Visitors can also discover quirky pottery, felt and concrete jewellery, textile art, polymer clay jewellery, upcycled sculptures and fabric bags, all made by the Bucks-based artists.

A café serving tea, coffee and homemade cakes will also run throughout the event.

Mixed media artist Sharon Bennett, one of the 12 creators taking part at the venue, said: “The charming Bledlow Ridge Village Hall marks a new and vibrant Bucks Art Weeks venue for art enthusiasts to explore.

“With its bright and airy ambiance it provides the perfect backdrop for our showcase, and we’re eagerly anticipating our inaugural exhibition in this delightful space.”

The group, formerly known as Flexmore Arts and Crafts, previously held Bucks Art Weeks shows at Flexmore Farm in Chalfont St Giles.

Entry is free, with the exhibition running on the following dates: Saturday and Sunday June 8 and 9, Friday to Sunday June 14 to 16  and Friday to Sunday June 21 to 23, all from 11am until 4pm.
