Artists of Manas Theater participate in international music festival in Samarkand
AKIPRESS.COM – Deputy Minister of Culture Gulbara Abdykalykova attended the opening ceremony of the International Music Festival Sharq Taronolari in Samarkand.
More than 400 artists and scholars from almost 80 countries are participating in the Festival.
The artists of Manas National Theater, epic narrators Aziz Biymyrza uulu and Bakyt Akmatov, represent Kyrgyzstan at the Festival.
President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev said the Festival is held after a long break caused by coronavirus pandemic.
The Festival will run until August 31.
