Artists display work in Irondequoit for upcoming Passport to Art event

Irondequoit, N.Y. — People will be displaying their artwork at the Passport to Art event in Irondequoit in the upcoming week.

The event is described as a “pub crawl for art” where guests are invited to travel around town exploring the different venues featuring dozens of artists.

An opening reception was held Saturday at the Artist Cave to celebrate the upcoming event.

“We discovered that we have a lot of artists in Irondequoit, and when you make art, you want to share your creativity with others,” said John Lahnhard, the co-owner of The Art Cave.

The Passport to Art event begins at the end of July.
