SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) – The twelve artists will create work to capture the spirit and vibrance of the Live! Casino & Hotel.
Following an open artist call by Shreveport Regional Arts Council (SRAC) and Bossier Arts Council (BAC), artists across northwest Louisiana submitted concepts in hopes of creating and displaying their artwork in the new Live! Casino and Hotel in Bossier City.
Twelve artists were selected to create a finalized version of their original work, which will be showcased in the 25,000-square-foot event center in the casino, an area that is aimed to be a multipurpose venue for top-name entertainment, meetings, conventions, nonprofit and social gatherings.
The art will aim to capture the spirit of the casino’s vibrant entertainment, gaming, dining, and nightlife experience.
The first look at the art will be held in late October, during a unique exhibition and meet & greet with the artists for the press and guests only. Check back in with KSLA following the event for updates.
