A new exhibition is now available to view showcasing some talent artists working in a variety of different art forms.
As part of a programme to provide regular opportunities for artists from across the area to display their works, the Newark Town Hall Art Gallery and Museum presents a new joint exhibition in the spotlight gallery.
Artists from two groups combined to put on the exhibition, The Grey Bear Artists’ Collective and Tillbridge Art Group.
Visitors will be able to enjoy an impressive display of works by local artists, working in a whole range of artistic styles and genres, from portraiture and still life, to landscapes and more.
The exhibition free and open until Saturday July 20, from 10.30am to 1pm, Wednesdays to Fridays, and from 10am to 3pm on Saturdays.
The Grey Bear Artists’ Collective started off as an attempt by one man, Steve Pursey, to hold life drawing sessions at his house and spread the cost of hiring models.

Over the years it has grown and as new members joined they showcased their own art forms in different media, styles and subjects.
Anyone interested in joining the group can find them on Facebook and Instagram by searching for Grey Bear Art and you should find us.
The Tillbridge Art Group began as a group of amateur artists taking guidance from the mentorship of artist Ann Stoker, but continued after her retirement.
The group is now thriving and always on the lookout for new members to join them at the village hall in Sturton-by-Stow each Wednesday.
