Both exhibitions offer insights to a shared vulnerability represented by nature and life and will run concurrently until October 12.

Gillian Wright will present “Connection” which is inspired by the besotting live views of the natural landscape and wildlife of Donegal.

Eimer Lynch -Solitary Boat, Leitrim

The nature of Gillian’s practice is to find connections between people and to our natural world, through her visual media of drawing, painting, printmaking and ceramics.

‘‘I am interested in the natural world and how our connection to it, can be healing’’.

She yearns to create work that documents and celebrates our abundance of wildlife, and to bring appreciation and awareness of the need to protect this delicate balance of our natural world.

Eimer Lynch will present “Borderlands: A Love Affair”.

Born in Dublin with a natural affinity to its’ seas, Eimer learned to love and oil paint the lakes, rivers and canals of Co Leitrim, the seascapes of Sligo and Donegal and also the bog lands and magical forests of Co Roscommon.

Eimers’ musings and recognitions lead her to thinking; ‘’ how our interaction with nature/art is coloured by our own individual perception and emotional state’’.

Eimer Lynch – There is always hope.

Eimer invites us to step into her story, create our own unique emotional response with free reign to our imagination, and experience a little magic.

The exhibitions will be opened by accomplished artist Thomas G. Flynn at 7:30 pm on Friday, September 6.

Everyone is invited to come along and meet the artists, hear about the explorations of their workings and visualise these in reality.
